By car:

If you come by car from the airport, we would suggest you check the itinerary on this map:

When you arrive to Calle Príncipe you will pass by the guesthouse, which is number 18, and then you will arrive to Plaza de Santa Ana where you will be able to park your car in the underground public car park. There are other car parks nearby. We will be more than glad to explain to you how to get to them once you arrive to the guesthouse.

By taxi:

You will find a taxi rank outside all the airport terminals. A taxi ride to the city centre will cost you around 35 Euros. Take into account that you will have to pay a supplement for airport pick-up of 5.50 Euros but there is no supplement for carrying luggage.

By train:

You can also travel from the airport on the local train service. Line C-1 will take you from the airport terminal T4 to Atocha or Chamartin stations in the city centre. Ticket price is 2.15 Euros one way.

By underground / subway:

From any of the two Metro stations (Airport terminals T1, T2, T3 or T4), take line 4 and get off at the last station (Nuevos Ministerios). There, change to line 10 towards Puerta del Sur and get off at Tribunal. Then take line 1 towards Valdecarros and get off at Sol Metro Station. The journey lasts about 45 minutes.

A single ticket with airport supplement is 2.50 Euros, although you can also buy a 10 trip ticket (metrobus) for 9.30 Euros and pay the airport supplement if necessary. The Metro underground network opens at 6am and closes at 1.30am.

By bus:

There is a 24 hour express bus line between terminal T4 and Atocha during the day and Cibeles at night. It is the best option to travel late at night with buses running quite often. The journey lasts about 40 minutes.

From train stations:

You will find taxi ranks outside the two main regional train stations in Madrid, Atocha and Chamartin. At these stations you will also find connections to the Metro network with links to Sol, the closest station to the guesthouse as it is just walking distance from us.
